Meet Petie

Petie holding his lucky batHi,

I’m Petie.  I’m told I have great agility and comprehension beyond my years of how things work.  I’m the go-to guy when Patti or Tricia have a disagreement.  When not out playing basketball or baseball, I help Tricia in her modeling career; I’ve got quite the eye for fashion.  I’m a Gemini with a Libra rising.

There’s nothing like a good game of baseball.  Every chance I get, I play ball ~ sometimes with my friends, sometimes alone and sometimes with my Pop.  It’s fun and requires lots of focus, which sometimes my mom doesn’t quite get.  She wants me to clean my room . . . I want to play ball.  Ah, she always wins.  I read lots of books about the really good players from long ago and try to learn from them and, of course, from my Pop.

I also love to sing, and I have a pretty good voice and can play quite a few different instruments.  Tricia makes fun of me, because I like singing show tunes.  Man, you should hear me belt out songs from Damn Yankees.  Thing is though, when she needs someone to accompany her, she always comes looking for me.

Petie with his new mittSpeaking of Yankees, my mom worked at Yankee Stadium as a secretary when she was really young.  I make her tell me the same stories over and over again, because they’re so great.  She actually met the players and talked with them.  She even walked on the field and into the locker room.  She was lucky.  One day, I’ll be a professional baseball player and have fun memories like those, too.  Maybe more because I’ll be on a team that wins the World Series.  Just wait and see cause I’m focused like pros say to be.

Even though Tricia makes fun of me, I know she loves me and Patti, too.  We might all be very different but that doesn’t get in the way of having fun together!

Batter up!
