In honor of National Kazoo Day, I wrote a poem. Hope you enjoy it!
I just must say
it’s a day for play
as this is National Kazoo Day.
I’ll wet my lips
and hum like the Pips
as the sound falls gently like a slip.
I’m filled with such glee
and hope you’ll join me
in kazooing under a tree.
Don’t be discreet
do it in the street
and think of all the people you’ll meet!
Say it loud
and be proud
shout it to a crowd …
Happy Day of the Kazoo
from me to all of you.
Wooooooo Wooooooo!

Couldn’t get my hands on a kazoo, but to honor this day, I took out a piece of wax paper and a comb. When was the last time you did THAT?! There’s nothing that tickles your lips like that!

I’ve never done that, but I’m going downstairs right now and trying it. You’re so cool!

I love Kazoos… this was awesome, thank you for sharing!
Thanks Cari ~ always great to have you stop by. I am learning how to use YouTube, so the next poem can be read with the enthusiasm it was written ~ that’ll make it much more fun!

Oh Byn, so glad you stopped by and yes, the wax paper and comb worked and definitely tickled … or maybe that was from all the laughing trying it. Always great having you stop by ~ thanks.
Sweet poem, Petie
And I want those dolls! Are they Sasha dolls?

Hi ~ no, not Sasha dolls. We’re from the PlayPal family and were made a long time ago. Oh, and we’re a bit bigger ~ Patti and Tricia are 35 inches tall and I’m 38 inches tall. We get to shop in the Toddler Department and, boy, can we turn heads!
So glad you stopped by!

I’ve never heard of National Kazoo Day, but it sounds awfully fun! I’ll have to pick up a few for the kids.

We love finding obscure holidays ~ gives us a chance to celebrate and like you said, it is awfully fun! I think your children would enjoy kazoos and they’re easy to find at any toy store.
Thanks for stopping by!
Aww schucks! I missed it. OK, next year I’ll be ready. There really should be more kazoo’s in the world. Thanks Petie!
You’re welcome Uncle Tony. Next year, we’ll be sure to send you a kazoo way before the celebration, so you can join in with us!
